At Marlin Coast Rangers Football Club, we keep the documents members ask for most on this page, so nobody has to dig back through old emails or Facebook posts to find them. That covers club policies and forms, codes of conduct, information for players and parents, volunteer details, wet weather and field updates, and the Football Queensland resources that apply to every club in Cairns and across the state. If something you need isn't here, contact the club and we'll send it through.

Club Policies and Forms
Our Club Handbook covers how the club runs day to day and what members can expect across a season. The Club Constitution sets out our rules and governance. Our Social Media Policy explains what's appropriate when posting about the club, its players and its officials.
Codes of Conduct
Every player, parent, coach and official at the club is bound by Football Queensland's Protect our Game code of conduct and its Three Strike Policy. Football Australia's National Code of Conduct and Ethics and its Member Protection Framework apply on top of those. They cover behaviour on the sideline as much as on the pitch, and they're worth reading before the first round rather than after an incident.
Players, Parents and Volunteers
Most of what players and parents need for a season is in the Club Handbook, including expectations around training, match day and communication. The club is run entirely by volunteers, and there's always more to do than there are people to do it. If you can help with coaching, team management, canteen shifts or a working bee, let the committee know.
Wet Weather and Field Updates
Ground closures in the wet season are decided at short notice and are separate from any fixture change. We post closures here and on our Facebook and Instagram pages as soon as they're confirmed, so check both before travelling to a match or to training.
Insurance and Football Queensland Resources
Registered players are covered by the national football insurance program administered through Football Australia and Football Queensland. Details of what's covered, and how to make a claim, are published on Football Queensland's own insurance page.
